Chef Kim is a visionary, faith-driven chef whose passion for cooking is deeply rooted in love, purpose, and community. For Kim, this restaurant is more than just a dream fulfilled; it’s a testimony of God’s faithfulness, a journey of growth, and a space where her passion and purpose finally meet.
From a young age, Kim carried the desire to create something of her own — a place that brings people together around authentic, nourishing meals that reflect the warmth and richness of Caribbean culture. Through every challenge and every season of preparation, she remained committed to the vision God placed in her heart. Kim States "It all started as an exit project in my Graphic Design class. Originally called Calypso Cuisine, it was an interactive cookbook. Fast forward to COVID, I had time to recreate meals and develop flavors inspired by both of my grandmothers’ cooking. They always had a signature ‘sweet’ linger that remained after each meal.”With that in mind, Sweet Mout was born—where you taste the islands and savor the flavors.”
Sweet Mout Island Cuisine is her offering — a reflection of her journey, her gratitude, and her calling. It’s a place where flavor meets faith, and every dish is seasoned with love, intention, and a piece of her story.
